We are an association of people who can, want to, and know how to support pregnant women and new mothers who are facing motherhood without the support of a partner, family, or community, and who lack the basic conditions needed to care for themselves and their children.

Mommy's Little Sunshine (Sunašce mamino) is here for women during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives — when finding the courage to keep going and fight for their children can be hardest.

By standing beside them, we hope to restore hope and help create a different, brighter tomorrow.

How does the program work?

Joining our program is simple, yet we take great care with every step. We review each application individually, deeply respecting your privacy and dignity.

Applying for Support

Joining the program begins with a simple application and the submission of the necessary documentation. Once we receive the application, our Committee carefully reviews each request individually, with compassion, discretion, and respect for each mother’s circumstances.

How We Assess Each Application

When considering an application, the Committee looks at the mother’s financial circumstances, housing situation, health needs, income, and the support available from family or those around her. Our goal is to understand the whole situation—not simply the information on a form.

Our Decision

Following the Committee’s assessment, a decision is made about admission to the program and the type of support that can best meet the mother’s and child’s individual needs.
